On her parents'
recommendation, she joined the Starfleet Academy to study
Diplomacy, but was quickly redirected by her instructors to
Security.
Upon her graduation from the Academy, Kane was sent on Station
749C as a security officer, where she spent the 2 most boring
years of her life. After various promotions and countless
requests to obtain a transfer on a ship, she was finally granted
a position on the USS Edison. But she only managed to stay a few
months on that vessel, as a new transfer sent her to Starbase
Bravo
Character traits :: Usually gets on well with everyone. Unfortunately, her hyperactivity and tendency to act before she thinks can led her into trouble.
Hobbies & Interests :: Likes sports in general, and can't resist a challenge. Keeps herself informed on new technologies.

following her parents throughout Africa. And it's only at her
entry at the Academy that she truly discovered space travel and
developed a like for it.
