General physical description: Bright pumpkin colored skin, a gnarled toothy grin, and sizable lobes make him quite the suave Ferengi looker.  He is of average height & weight for a Ferengi... which makes him kind of short & dumpy by Federation standards.

General personality profile:

A strong lust for profit and a sexist disposition make Pog a traditional Ferengi of the best kind.  He is skilled negotiator, bargainer, haggler, and salesman, who excels in exploitation, lying, fraud, smuggling, blackmail, and other crimes deemed necessary to earn an honest living. He is something of a whining, wheedling coward and is likely to do anything to save his own skin.  Except give up latinum. His love for good food and drink (the Ferengi invented sythehol) has led him into the tavern business.  His taste for native Ferengi cuisine (which is impossible to replicate properly) includes his favorite foods: flaked bloodfleas, jellied gree-worms, lokar beans, slug-steaks, and tube-grubs...preferably pre-chewed.

Ppersonal/professional history:

Pog is the eldest of three lobelings born to his "Moogie" & "Poopie", Mala & Gronk, on the damp & moldy world of Ferenginar in 2339.  His father is in theFerengi garment industry, and once Pog escaped his indentured servitude where he was properly exploited by his father, he left his homeworld on a Ferengi trading vessel and set about building his own personal fortune. Little is known of his life abroad, other than the fact that he now owns several bars and holosuites on various space stations under Federation protection.  His ventures have taken him deeper and deeper into the Beta Quadrant, where he has some rather mysterious business contacts of dubious origins. Pog hopes to marry off his sister, Okra, to someone influential in theFerengi government... but she has other ideas.  His little brother Urek is acomplete embarrassment to the family, since he is a Federation Starfleet officer posted to the  Bravo Fleet flagship, the USS Pegasus... and makes almost no profit whatsoever.
